High immigration could drive Britain's population to 77million by 2035

Britain's population could rise by a quarter to more than 77million in just 25 years if high levels of migration continue, according to official estimates released yesterday.

They projected a population of 77.7million by 2035 – nearly 16million more than now – if high immigration continues alongside rapidly rising birthrates and increased life expectancy.

It means that the country would have to find room for an additional 650,000 people – the population of a city the size of Glasgow – every year between now and 2035.
Figures suggest the projected 70million population mark could be hit in Britain far sooner than first predicted

Figures suggest the projected 70million population mark could be hit in Britain far sooner than first predicted

The estimates were released at a time of growing concern over fast-rising population levels and their impact on overcrowded England, which is already the most densely populated country in Europe.

The figures suggest that the 70million population mark – the level at which many believe stresses on housing, transport, education, health, power and water will become too great – could be hit far sooner than the current prediction of 2027.

The new projections were published by the Office for National Statistics.

Last month, the ONS put out ‘principal projections’, which said that the population was set to grow by just under 500,000 a year for the next 25 years, reaching 73.2million from the current 62.2million in 2035.

Yesterday it published ‘variant population projections’ which ‘are intended as plausible alternatives to the principal assumptions,’ it said. Based on the highest expected immigration, fertility and life expectancy levels, these put numbers in the country at 77,746,000 in 2035, and nearly 95million by 2060.

By that stage Britain would have overtaken Germany as the most populous country in Europe.

If maintained over the following decades, that rate of population increase would mean numbers reaching nearly 137million in 100 years – more than doubling over a century.

Over the past 100 years, the population has grown by around 50 per cent.

The higher projected increase depends heavily on rates of immigration remaining similar to those currently being recorded.

In 2010 net migration – the number of people coming into the country to live minus the number emigrating – was 239,000. New figures released today may show even higher migration rates.

However, the ONS said that if migration is curbed, the population will be much lower.

Yesterday’s analysis said that if net migration is reduced to zero, the population will never reach the 70million landmark.

With zero net migration, but fertility rates and life expectancy continuing to go up according to mainstream expectations, there will be 65,740,000 people in the country in 2035, and this will gradually fall to below 58million in 2110.

The Coalition has pledged to reduce net migration to below 100,000 a year – the levels seen in the 1990s – though some analysts suggest a level of 150,000 a year is manageable.

Sir Andrew Green, chairman of think-tank Migration Watch, said: ‘ONS data confirms the shocking fact that the UK population is projected to hit 80million by 2056, overtaking Germany in the process – even though we have far less space. We must get net migration down to below 40,000 to stabilise our population below 70million. Anyone who suggests that net migration of 150,000 will do has simply not looked at the facts.’

n The Downing Street ‘e-petition’ demanding action to prevent the population reaching 70million has been signed by almost 125,000 people.

The campaign, organised by Migration Watch, passed the 100,000 mark in less than one week – meaning MPs can now ask for a backbench debate on what steps are needed to bring immigration under control.

A convicted sex attacker raped and violently molested two young girls as he fought deportation on human rights grounds,” said the Daily Mail.

The asylum-seeker (from the Congo), aged 39, subjected the two young girls to disgusting sexual abuse before and after he was jailed for raping a teenager.

One of the girls in question was just 4 years old.

A judge recently described it as “remarkable” that the asylum seeker had not been thrown out of Britain already.

The Daily Mail described the difficulty in deporting him:

“Officials were ordered to deport Danga at the end of his sentence but he frustrated their efforts after losing his passport. He was then freed on immigration bail while he challenged the move on the grounds that he had a right to a ‘family life’ because he had children with a young girlfriend. The case is the latest in a string of outrages in which dangerous foreign criminals have used European [Human Rights] laws to continue living here.”

Several months ago a Nigerian rapist, Akindoyin Akinshipe, escaped deportation after European judges ruled he had a right to a ‘private life’ in Britain.

Like many others, he used Article 8 of the ‘Human Rights Act’ to claim the right to a ‘family life’!

The main reason Britain cannot deport these foreign criminals is because of ‘Human Rights’ legislation that severely handicaps our ability to get rid of foreign criminals from our shores.

The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), and its UK offshoot, the ‘Human Rights Act’, has led to sanctuary for foreign criminals, even terrorist suspects, compensation for drug addicts denied narcotics in jail, and now, most disturbing, paedophiles are to be guaranteed unsupervised access to their children.

The EU convention is also behind the drive to give prisoners the vote.

Help us fight back against this dangerous development! get involed with your nearest white org or political party ,,our children need us to secure there futures and there childrens futures .

racial murder of Kriss Donald,,, case Update

The leader of a gang jailed for the racist murder of a Glasgow schoolboy has lost a bid to win damages for being held in solitary confinement in prison.
Imran Shahid is serving a minimum of 25 years for murdering Kriss Donald in 2004.
He had raised an action at the Court of Session in Edinburgh claiming that his segregation violated his human rights.
But judge Lord Malcolm rejected this, agreeing that segregation was necessary for safety reasons.
Shahid was recently attacked in prison after being returned to the mainstream population.
The 34-year-old, his brother Zeeshan Shahid and Faisal Mushtaq were all sentenced to life in November 2006 after being found guilty of murdering the 15-year-old.
Kriss Donald was abducted in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow, stabbed several times, then set on fire.
Substantial risk During his time in the Scottish jail system, Shahid has spent four years and eight months in segregation.
He claimed this amounted to inhuman or degrading treatment and was contrary to the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
He also maintained that there had been interference with his right to respect for private life under the ECHR.
As part of the action he raised a claim for compensation of £6,000, although his counsel Simon Collins QC accepted that any damages award would be modest.

Judge Lord Malcolm In his judgement Lord Malcolm said: "Given the nature of his crime there was a high level of feeling against him in the prison population.
"The relevant officials, charged with making decisions concerning his management, considered that he would be at substantial risk of serious harm if returned to the mainstream population.
"Given the information which they had, they would have been open to very serious criticism, and indeed legal action, had he been placed in mainstream and come to harm.
"While such a lengthy period of segregation is a cause for concern, its purpose was legitimate. It was directed towards the petitioner's own safety and protection from the potential for serious injury or worse."
Lord Malcolm added: "The response was proportionate. Throughout the ultimate goal of reintegration was maintained."
The SPS maintained that within the prison population there had been a high level of feeling against Shahid because of the murder and at the time the view was taken that to place him in with mainstream prisoners would leave him at serious risk of attack.
The Scottish government regularly granted applications to governors for the renewal of his segregation.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=BIApkQXKtRQ
